Use our small world play sand to create different worlds for a range of themes including fairy worlds and dinosaur small world play. Start with a base such as a tray or shoe box then a layer of one or more of our small world play sands. You can collect things from nature that you can use in your small worlds. Shells from the beach or twigs and pebbles from the park make wonderful additions to your small worlds.

Whatever scene you’re creating, try to limit it to just one space and around two or three characters or animals. Find a good mix of materials and textures, especially natural ones. For example you might create an underwater scene in a shoe box, with our ocean small world play sand for the sea, our construction small world play sand for the beach a natural sponge and a few shells.
